Özet:
The aim of
this study is to examine the relationship between nepotism, encountered in
public institutions and the private sector, and the increasingly prevalent
concept of quiet quitting. For this purpose, a survey was conducted with 395
participants working in public institutions and the private sector in Istanbul,
selected on a voluntary basis. The survey consists of three sections:
“Demographic Information,” “Nepotism Scale,” and “Quiet Quitting Scale.”
As a result of the research, it was found that there is a significant relationship between employees' perceptions of nepotism and their quiet quitting behaviors, and that the perception of nepotism has an impact on quiet quitting. Furthermore, no significant differences were observed in the perception of nepotism across any demographic variables; however, age-related differences were identified in quiet quitting, while no differences were found for other demographic variables.
