A quantitative study was conducted with a total of 327 participants, all actively working in the private sector, in Istanbul, Turkey. The results provided three main findings as follows: social capital has a positive effect on knowledge sharing, trust has a positive effect both on knowledge sharing and social capital, and there are differences among the generations in social capital, knowledge sharing and trust.
